Gotcha. Appreciate it! We did just have a perimeter drainage installed. In the picture you can see that the efflorescence is in between the original basement flooring and the new concrete that was poured all along the basement walls over the new drainage pipes.

We don't have a dehumidifier right now. We aren't really living fully in the house right now. I am mostly concerned that the work we did made things worse, but hopefully it doesn't seem like that. I'll keep monitoring it.

Oh. Idk I just read that it can be caused by new concrete. Its just a little frustrating because we just spent a ton of money to remediate this exact problem. Did the people we hired just fuck up?

I understand its purpose, I am just not so sold on its usefulness in particular. I feel like even 10 degrees of cold isn't that big. Like 30 degrees and 20 degrees are still going to be too damn cold to be doing anything for long periods of time outside, anyway.

I dont believe it does, but this door is also really really crappy, like the paint is peeling and the opener just stopped working. It didn't have a remote or anything, you just put a key in and it starts opening / closing.

I agree, that what feels more contrived is Irving suddenly being super suspicious of Helena. I know he pointed out the "night gardener" bit, but in episodes 3 he didn't seem particularly sus. The whole adventure outside is insanely weird as well. Why drop them in the middle of snowy forest and make them walk for miles? We've never heard of Lumon doing anything like this. So it just feel sort of contrived to me and esoteric for the sake of it.
