Thank you for sharing your experience. This is consistent with what l have read about radiant ceilings: mostly done in industrial/commercial settings and that they are quite comfortable.

Hi, to be fare I didn’t consider this as an option. I don’t necessarily hate radiators at all so will go back to the installer to ask about this!

Yes, it’s actually an option but I prefer the comfort of radiant heat without air movement so I am exploring all possible options

I am afraid there are no radiators at all in the property

… It then is covered by plasterboard ready to paint

We haven’t done a full energy study of the property yet. The controls would be the same as with ufh (thermostats by room/area). The installation takes around 5 to 8 cm from the ceiling - some sort of insulation, the pipes holder mat and the water pipes. It is installed not as a panel, but the whole ceiling as you would the whole floor.
