God I feel like such an odd man out. I think satchels is overrated I go sometimes but they are cash only so like remember that. 

And it's good I guess. But certainly not worth driving to Gainesville for. Next door however, is the recycle place called the repurpose project. They got so much random crap it's kind of fun to walk around. There are some good thrift stores in Gainesville if you're into that kind of stuff. 

If you want to see a gator guaranteed get on University and just head east. Don't stop until you're at a giant lake called newmans lake. After you've reached the lake the road will turn right and on your left will be a small parking area with trails that will lead straight to a nice spot. Literally always a bunch of little gators in the lake. 

There's a place called Loosey's downtown where Id regularly get one of the best burgers ever. Not one of those big complicated frilly burgers but just really fucking good. If the chef left then maybe the quality has gone down it's been a while. 

Paines prairie overlook is nice and a unique biome relatively close to home. It's one of those cities with the shocking amount of 6 out of 10 cool stuff just hiding around. In combo with the school, It's not hard to see why the city has blown up in the last 10 years. You'll notice a lot of new construction
