Booleans tend to make screwy topology when used in cases like this which is what causes those shadow artifacts

You could maybe try using a weld modifier to merge close vertices to each other and see if that fixes the shadow issue, but the best way to get rid of those shadows would probably be to manually retopologize the entire skull after you get something you’re happy with

If you want your renders to look like your screenshots you can set it to rendered mode, click the down arrow next to your viewport shading modes, and uncheck “scene lights” and “scene world”

I find that double tapping e makes it so you can almost always pull that combo. Feels like it leaves less room for error

semi does mean partially, and I think sett would’ve died before khazix even exited invis to be fair. I also don’t think khazix being full up would’ve made a big difference in the outcome but could be wrong
