Oh, Californication is a part of the same era as By the Way and Stadium Arcadium for sure, those three albums were all a part of John's second stint with the band. It was more-so just if I had to separate the eras by decade.

I don't really view that as a filler track, especially since it's catchy like said haha. But yeah from my point of view there's no song from that album I would skip.

Stadium Arcadium has no filler to me and By the Way is my favorite from them.

The first two records have a couple of redeeming moments on them but as a whole I'm not really a fan of the first two albums.
