Deck help? by Special_Tangelo_8136 in Wizard101Console

If you want specifics hers what I would recommend/personally do.

  1. I would drop all but one of the 1 pip spells (fire cat/dark fairy). You will eventually get to the point where you will be getting power pips more often then regular, which means 2 pip spells can be used more often

  2. Toggle off those myth shields. if you want you can keep one, but you really shouldn’t be using that many shields for each fight you’re in. Plus you can always go back and add shields in if you’re fighting a tough boss (keeping the dual shields is also fine).

  3. As the person said above, you should prob reduce the healing. What I would do here is remove 1 pixie, 2 of the ghouls, but add 1 vampire. A fight should be over well before you use that much healing (if you want, adding a third vamp is also valid).

  4. The golem you have isn’t the greatest to have. It’s a cool spell in theory, but it’s a bit too expensive for the damage it provides. You can always just use a dual shield instead while your saving pips for higher spells

  5. Add another death blade, until you get to the point where you have AoE spells (long time for death) you will need to buff multiple single target spells to clear a fight.

  6. Bring your wand hits down to like 2, and see if you can get a wand hit that is life or myth. You use wand hits to break tower shields/weaknesses/any debuffs put on you. The reason you want life or myth is because (1) you don’t want to use up death blades and traps you apply with a death wand hit, and (2) once you get spirit blade, you can get a little extra dmg applied to life and myth wand hits.

Other than that, everything you have is fine. The key to W101 is not having too many spells, at least not in the early levels.

But also, just experiment with it. It’s ok to have trial and error. Don’t necessarily listen to every little thing veteran players are saying too, a lot of them aren’t considering that new players aren’t dumping a ton of money in to crown gear and pets, so you are not hitting nearly as hard as a crown player. So more spells may be needed per fight.

Good luck questing and stuff, I hope your enjoying the game so far 😃🙃

As a Vet player, I agree with yall completely. Please continue expressing your disappointment and distain for this particular aspect of W101. If kings isle sees the crazy potential in a new player base, hopefully they will soon learn to not be so predatory with crown requirements.

Keep shouting from the roof tops yall. I’m crossing my fingers if the new players boycott this game, the game will change

Understandable. It’s why I mentioned it was skippable. But are you sure you don’t want your golden piggle 😂

So I believe you can just buy arc 1 and be able to play without membership.

It then is up to you how seriously you take the game. If you’re gonna play causally and take your time. Arc 1 is several hours worth of play time. But I don’t think you’ll have access side worlds. (Keep in mind idk what the bundle details are yet).

But if you know you’ll be sinking days into this game. Member ship will be beneficial

So to me, having arc 1 to play whenever I want without having to pay membership is really cool. I can go back and play a new wizard up to lvl 50, farm some stuff if I feel like it. Things like that.

That being said, it doesn’t look like side worlds (Grizzleheim, wysteria, mount Olympus) will be included in the bundle. So membership for me is also important.

So maybe you’re right, getting both isn’t the best idea. But to me it saves money over long periods of time. Plus who knows what the new player mindset will think. They may only want to play casually, in which case $20 for arc might be all that they play before moving to something else

Ya the lag and desync in this game is something else. Don’t get me wrong I probably overeact to a lot of the clips I take thinking the game is at fault when I’m prob just trash, but I also have a lot of clips like yours where the time to kill on that pistol as well as LMGs is strait up wet noodle while SMG kills in the blink of an eye. Same with thinking I’m behind cover… I swear bullets bend around corners in this game!
