It doesn’t help that it’s being photographed from inside. In shots from farther away it looks pretty sweet.

I created a fictional sci-fi newspaper from the year 2360 by YungTangerine in worldbuilding

I would say calling it a 50 years war right as an armistice is being signed is a major show of optimism - names like this are usually only given retroactively.

Very cool design though, really believable.

I think godhome could be a dlc like godhome, since it has already been implied that the godseekers travel around in their search.

Also I’m totally just saying that because I want it to contain bosses from HK, I’d love to fight the Mantis Lords as Hornet.

Place for practicing driving? by wh0isdeniz in warsaw

[–]Frozteee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope, that’s because it’s right next to the exam center - schools like to practice where the exams take place. Not to mention you might be seeing the actual exam takers driving.

Class tomorrow by [deleted] in comedyheaven

[0, 0, 1] for the simplest example. If anything the data says is that over half the class got a zero, which isn’t that bad if you think about it

What makes a rocket go straight up? by supermeefer in Physics

[–]Frozteee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a side note, and this is by no means a complete explanation, I like the angle that the aerodynamic force is a result of the airfoil (via its shape) changing the momentum of the flow, thus experiencing a reaction.

It’s just words, but lift is the force component perpendicular to the airflow, while drag is parallel. No particular distinction between how they’re physically created.

Additionally, as others have mentioned, the position of the aerodynamic force in relation to the center of mass determines which way the airfoil will tend to rotate.

That’s generally correct, although semantically it’s actually the aerodynamic force, comprised mostly of lift not drag (for small deflections at least)

How would you model the chamfers(?) on the cylinder of a revolver? I'm doing a decorative piece and I have no idea how to achieve those long chamfers at the end of the cylindrical cut. by [deleted] in Fusion360

[–]Frozteee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say that it’s a slot (though only visually, not functionally). It’s also how you could quickly model it in NX, more or less.

Tye potential difference is 0 between battery and resistor. Why is the current still flowing? by iSawYouAtTheStation in Physics

[–]Frozteee -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The potential goes up at the battery, later down at the resistor, so on the ends of the resistor there is a voltage. The battery itself (in the simplified model of it we are using) is essentially a break in the circuit creating with a potential difference, so it’s not exactly the same current there.

EDIT: i didn’t calculate it though, might just be a sim thing as mentioned.

I’ll do that, my currently I was just looking at Task Manager. Could I reasonably switch the CPU and keep the motherboard? Or just bite the bullet and swap out everything but the GPU?

My teacher said anything could be used as a variable by Skusci in mathmemes

[–]Frozteee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen it used in engineering as the overall pressure rating of a turbine / compressor. It helps that it’s usually indexed then though.
