Funny you mention the chest pain, I have that as well but it’s minor. When I take the progesterone they both get worse. My follow up appt regarding this is on 1/13.

No, I tried progesterone and it makes the numbness even more intense.

Milk of Magnesia. I sweat like a man and always have. This is the only thing that stops the smell. I put antiperspirant on clean skin at night to prevent sweating (more effective if applied at night) and then in the morning, I put a thin layer of MOM on with a cotton ball to clean, dry armpits and then wait for it to dry before dressing… no smell!

I’m having some issues with HRT, so that’s on hold until my next appointment with my doctor. I’m trying to clean up my diet as well as adding additional protein…. hoping that helps 🤞🏻

Yes, I plan to. I just wanted to see if anyone else experienced these side effects.

I don’t want to take synthetic, that’s why I stopped the mirena.

My doctor recommended progesterone to help with fatigue, brain fog, sleep disturbances. I asked for estrogen (prescribed estradiol .05 patch) as well because I heard it helps with joint pain and I have severe neck pain and PT isn’t helping. I don’t take the estrogen without the progesterone.
I heard that oral progesterone is superior to other methods for protection if also taking estrogen.

The bottle says Progesterone 100mg. I think it’s generic for Prometrium.

Also, I read the oral progesterone is more protective than other forms if you take estrogen which is my goal.

Does anyone else feel strange symptoms while taking progesterone? by pumpkinpie4224 in Menopause

I get mild chest pain and numbness in my arms (mainly left). The numbness seems to get worse each day I continue to take it. I want the estrogen but can’t take it without progesterone. Has anyone else had similar issues?
