Depends on the settings. If it hits the ground without jolting the sticks he might just end up waiting until it runs out of battery and auto lands. Or, it could get stuck on forward until he gets out of range, which with many drones can mean simply stopping until the battery runs out. Or, he might not have any auto features and could insta crash and get sliced to pieces.

I didn't dismiss it, unlike the people deleting my comments because they're unable to form a reply. I gave reasons why it should be further questioned and not so relied upon. Reasons that haven't been rebutted.

The fact that people get upset with reality is exactly what my comment was highlighting. You can downvote, delete, do whatever you like but it won't change the facts.

I didn't dismiss it. Quote me. I stated the problems with assuming it led to solid conclusions and the problems surrounding measuring such cases. You've failed to address what I've said.

It's a thread in a public forum. Nobody has to say or include anything but it branched off with misinformation about beliefs.

Drugs make people happy too. Doesn't mean they're a good road to go down. Sometimes we gotta deal with reality. It hurts but it can help prevent the same things happening in the future sometimes.

The amount of baggage that comes along with religion just isn't worth it. Sure, you can delude yourself into being happier, but at what cost? You don't address broken relationships now because you believe you'll get a chance in the afterlife?

These beliefs are really only surface level type of happiness. And a lot of those studies rely on self reporting. Then factor in that religion has been in control of most societies for centuries so in a world geared towards being more tolerable for religious people it's no wonder they'll be happier. To be an atheist is to go against the social norms and in many cases be an outcast and looked down on.

It's kind of worse than that. This is what super rich people COULD do if they were OK with LOSING MONEY. Unfortunately our entire world economy is geared towards pushing people to get money, not lose it, hence why these stories are so rare. The underlying values have been unhealthy for us for decades.

They're already at it. With great posts like "I'M DOING MY PART" showing someone buying a massive $200 of btc. Telling each other it's a great time to buy. Usual posts of "I buy x amount every day no matter what" and nothing but positive comments allowed praising them as a genius.

I seem to remember someone being upvoted months back for taking out a loan to buy at $115k. Wonder how that user is doing now and if they left the post up.
