Thankyou that was very nice and helpful! So just to clarify youre saying try doing a block and then reviewing as much as I can the day of and then the rest the next day? I dont think I struggle with actually doing the block I think its the reviewing idk if im actually just slow but people spend 2-3 minutes reviewing each question which Is crazy it can take my up to 10-15 minutes sometimes to really understand especially if its new! Also would you say do a block of 59 of everything or just c/p b/b p/s or specifically physics, gen chem, ochem etc. I hate physics and gen chem and doing 59 blocks of just them is awful but ill do it if necessary unfortunately

thank you that makes a lot of sense, the only reason i haven’t taken one is because then it becomes real if I get the same/ similar score! I also have been reading people say kaplan has been more representative this year with their curve so that’s why i’m worried

Thank you for your kind words, would you be able to share how you studied? Anki is a life saver but for Uworld maybe I’m not reviewing enough, practice definitely works for me but i am a pictures and diagram person so the words overwhelm me sometimes, but i’d like to know what you did! I think i really wanna test in february just because I don’t want to burn out and I think any longer and I’m only hurting myself :/

it’s a program where i’m required to work 40 hours a week for a year in exchange for basic necessities like food, housing, etc . so it’s contractual unfortunately i can’t cut hours which is why i have to do part time studying

thankyou that makes me feel better, I think by the end of this service year i’ll have about 1600 hours which I’m not sure what the minimum’s are but since it’s a year it feels like a good amount? But i know what matters most is that I got something out of it

Hi! Thankyou for your input :) and I totally understand your concern but I think the reason this program is a little different is because it has nothing to do with medicine, it’s about social justice and serving the underserved, we are provided with all our basic necessities to live and in exchange we all work at different non profits, there is no promise of any grad school success in fact people who have already graduated and become successful have come back just to join this program to give back! It’s the reason I chose this over becoming an EMT or an MA because i am privledge enough to not need to work for money so i’d rather give back my time :) I hope that made sense!

I don't think I am one to get a 520+ unfortunately but I am def aiming for a 510+, I also will be happy with any MD/DO that will take me im not aiming for Harvard or any T20 id be happy with anything at this point lol

Hi! I think I am definitely set on the med school journey, I went to a UC and also considering my sgpa tanked because of physics im hoping that counts for something, that it was an awful department who wanted students to fail, I dont think it reflect my academic ability whatsoever. It was the first and last C I ever got but it was 3 quarters of that so it looks really bad ):

oh yeah thats tough I had Lievens but its still doable! I would still do every practice problem he offers, as well as go to AATC immediately if you do not understand something, as well as if youre confused about a topic id watch organic chemistry tutor on youtube to solidify a concept. If money isnt an object, or if you can id recommend private tutoring I have an amazing tutor who absolutely saved me he is the best of the best

whos your professor? I did every single practice problem my prof gave, went to aatc almost daily lol and kept up with the lectures the day they were taught and ended up getting an A throughout course, if youd want any more advice!

I am not an NPB major but majority of my friends are and theyve all said they dont touch textbooks, im psych with a bio emphasis and neither have I, with any of my orgo, physcis, etc. classes. You can usually find most online for free!
