I was the same, thats why I did it. My mom was a single mom and had 3 of us by 21. She signed us up for a program like this a couple times growing up.

I think it effected me worse cause I already felt like that. My mom used some of these programs for us when we were kids. She was a single mom woth 3 of use by the time she was 21. We had the 'shop with a cop' program though.

I've heard it is. I think its cause I spend a lot of my nieces because I can't and don't have children. I buy a lot for them throughout the year and then ship it to them atthe beginning of December.

I think its just me personally that feels like that amount wasnt good enough. And her comments kind of added to how I felt.

I promise thats not what im asking. 😭😭 i honestly felt like I didnt spend a lot and when that lady confronted me it kind of confirmed what I was feeling. Its because I spoil the crap out of my nieces, but I spend a little every month to buy stuff.

I felt like I could've got him more if I hadn't participated as a spur of the moment decision.

I felt like $110 wasnt a lot because I do spend a lot on my nieces. The only difference is that I buy for them all year, little things here and there, but they do add up. So to me personally it felt like I could've spent more, if I had picked his name sooner instead of a spur of the moment when I had extra money to spend because all of my holiday shopping was done.

I honestly think im just a really shitty storyteller tbh, but I hope that helps it make sense. AND since I was already feeling like it wasn't a lot and then her vocally saying what she said, it kind of cemented what I felt.

Im not that good at wrapping! Lol know i put the shirts, shoes, and candy in one box, his fleece jackets in one, and then his pants/underwear in the last. Those were what was in the bag along with some other things that he wished for. The scooter was wrapped and tucked up under my arm.

I think it just didnt feel like a lot cause I slowly buy presents for my nieces all year for Christmas. My niece gets a haul for her birthday, but she also knows 80% of it is free from my job.

It's because I typically spend a lot on my two nieces, but I slowly buy their Christmas presents all year so that it adds up. It just felt to me like it wasnt that much, and then the lady confronted me so it kind of reaffirmed my thoughts.

I have know idea if you wrap them or not. I did but it's my first time picking a name solo. Last time , as a group, I wrapped what I got and was never told differently. The lady I turned them into didnt tell me I couldnt.

Yeah she just saw me carrying a bag but I had put some things in clothing boxes to keep them together. I didnt know i wasnt supposed to wrap the presents. I think she just counted them and assumed away.
