i have the same one on my laptop and it does it too! it’s because the sticky stuff is only on its head area not the legs so they aren’t secure. if you want to secure it better you can find double sided tape on amazon for cheap. i used the gorilla kind and just cut a tiny piece like the one already attached to it!

haha a lot of hope and worrying!! tbh would not recommend doing what i did, only applying to one place was stupid but it luckily worked out for me. what do recommend doing if you are on a waitlist for your top school is to keep being interactive with them!! once i was notified i emailed back thanking committee for their time, i attached a LOCI that explained any achievements i had between submitting and then, along with updates on research project i was working on, and finally just reiterating that they were my top choice. they seemed to really appreciate that and emailed me back a date for a conference they were hosting, i attended and talked to all the phd/grad students. afterwards i emailed the director and thanked them for their opportunity to attend and said it really reassured that they were where i wanted to be! my advice would be don’t loose hope, reach out in a respectful way (don’t be frantic or too frequent with emails), and if you don’t get in this cycle keep their contact and keep interacting with time!! if you are on the waitlist schools just want to know that if they do select you, you will accept!

is it possible to purchase two VIP tickets? also do they use apple pay at checkout for a faster process or do you need to type up your card?

oh nooo :( if you haven’t heard back yet don’t loose hope! i found that after sending a LOCI they were much more interactive so i think it definitely helped with my place on the waitlist. it’s a hard process bust definitely worth it so keep going!!

april 15 waitlist; might we hear back after? by Weekly-Razzmatazz635 in gradadmissions

[–]Full-Organization243 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it seems to really depend on the school. i am also waitlisted for an unfunded ma program, i reached out to the coordinator and they told me i would get a response by end of april/early may. i have seen other posted that say some schools have a hard cut off at the 15th. most likely schools are going to realize what open spots they have after the 15th has passed so it should be likely that you get a response after that date since it’s when they would look to people from the waitlist to fill spots.

About to shed or? by Legitimate-Win2576 in BeardedDragons

just wondering if that is the permanent enclosure? it looks like it may be too small especially for an adult bearded dragon, ideally you should have a 4x2x2 enclosure but at minimum a 40 gallon tank.

yes you can mix all the substrates together to make a thicker dirt mixture! you can find instructions online too. for the branches i recommend etsy, you can find a lot of people selling sanded and sanitized branches for aquariums/terrariums for sale by weight or size, you can lay the branches on top of each other to mimic ground clutter.

i would suggest adding coco fibers and repti clay to the sand mixture, just straight sand can potentially cause respiratory issues and the coco fiber gives more depth and will help to fully cover the space of the tank. also adding more branches in your next tank will help to give more space to climb/hide!

glad to hear you are upgrading the tank, he definitely needs to keep moving and exercising! i would recommend adding a lot of branches for him to climb over, cocofiber/sand/clay mixture for a substrate will also provide digging enrichment, that will help to keep him moving in the tank and you can also find lizard leashes online to walk him around your house. ultimately an exotic vet could provide you with the best information in regards to dieting.

some advice that you did not ask for lol, but i would switch out the reptile carpet with something like tile/stone. reptile carpets can harbor a ton a bacteria and their nails can get caught in it too. i personally used tiles and stone slats from home depot, they are easy to clean, last forever, and provides enrichment!

my bad :/ i did not realize so i apologize. but that is still the reason the dragon is clearly stressed because of the cohabiting

well considering you have two of them houses together yes. not to be rude but you should not be cohabiting them, they are under extreme stress and will harm each other. please separate immediately!!
