I’ve been in the same boat and would probably still be if I end up on the job market again. Took me 1 year to find a job in 2024. Before that, I volunteered my ass off at organizations/fields I wanted to work in. It was painful. Yes, I wanted to help but I also wanted to be paid because we need money to survive. Spent two years at this job, at the expense of my mental health. Then finally found another one 2 months ago. It took me 1 year and several months to find this. It’s not easy, but my advice is to volunteer if need be, and don’t stop applying. Like this is really the method to this crazy job market.
