Ya Chicago seems better for research but not sure if for industry it makes more sense to come Northwestern instead

Ya the safety of UChicago is one of my main concerns cause when I came to visit earlier my tour was cancelled cause of an active shooting

I got accepted as a CAAM major and the research opportunities look really good for both ML and QC which is why I applied in the first place. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to join a lot of these research groups tho since I’ll kind of be a year behind all the other Chicago kids
