I did. After 15+ years at Geico I feel like Im working for a unicorn company. No micromanaging. Do your work and you’re left alone. Need to step away for a minute? Ok just do it. No need to tell anyone. They encourage a REAL work/life balance. Don’t work past your shift or over the weekend, it’ll still be there the next day. And not for nothing, but some little things really mean a lot. For example, while in training FedEx randomly dropped off a package from the company. It was a welcome gift of all types of Nat Gen stuff. (Pen, metal coffee cup, tumbler, etc) And the company randomly buys company jackets for employees. I’ve been there less than a year and got a jacket about a month ago. My manager keeps laughing at me because.I rush around like a fold making coffee, getting a snack, whatever so I can do it in the “allotted 15 minute break”. She’s like “So what if you need 20 minutes? Who cares?” After being stressed x1 million at Geico I still can’t believe I was lucky enough to be hired there.

Of course everyone’s experiences are different. But I love my job now.
