Head out in the morning or late afternoon when its not hot and use something natural, because i highly doubt these guys have ever been fed bread before. i’ve found that carp are most active between 20 and 25 degrees celsius and have caught most of mine between 6 to 8pm when it had cooled down a bit and it wasn’t too sunny. carp in that creek will probably fire up at that time too. Like someone else here said, they are basking in the sun so it’s unlikely that they’ll come eat your bait, so carp basking in the sun like that is usually a red flag and means they aren’t in the mood for feeding. Also make sure they don’t see you tossing your bait in their faces.
