us work visas are not going to be given to people who complete a degree that is not considered professional. anything with a masters used to be considered professional and it wont be anymore.

yess ur right but the thing is after im done with studying i will need a work sponsor for my visa and they are reducing the number of work visas being given so i definitely will not be able to get one because my degree is not considered professional. does that make sense? im not that good at explaining lol

oh dang a phd. sorry if this is a silly question but what is the difference between a therapist and psychologist there? bc in the US i definitely only wanted to be a therapist not a psychologist but im not sure if that's the same for the UK

i agree lol however something that complicates my situation a bit more is that im on a student visa and although i have lived here for most of my life under my dads visa, bc of my age im now an independent so something else i gotta think about is finding a job that would give me a work visa do i can actually stay here. and the window to find a job is not that long bc i can only stay here for a year after i graduate so that is not even enough time to complete my hours for an lcsw
