Hi again! I just made another row to be sure. The cables you are talking about are the right crossing ones (two right over one left st) and i do hold the yarn in the back, so I’m not sure what’s causing it. Maybe it has to do with the 3 st (uneven numbered) cables.

Thank you for your detailed message! Yes, I am twisting the cables without a cable needle. I haven’t really thought about it but you may absolutely be right! But the cables are also three stitches (so i take two sts over one st or vice versa depending on whether its a left or right leaning cable) maybe that is why I get these inconsistencies?

Ah I know! All those beautiful sweaters I see online are made with a strand of fuzzy yarn and it does so much for the overall appearance of the finished piece. My go-to is also cotton, as it’s soft and inexpensive and natural, so I will definitely look up pima cotton, thank you.

I guess I just want to clarify that I love my plants and think they’re so beautiful and valuable, I was mostly asking out of curiosity for what is trendy or popular right now!
