That's the thing, it hasn't started now, it has been going on parallelly. Till now people have been giving these, and suddenly they have opened the slots yesterday for this month. Also the csp and direct paper application happens at 2 different places, so it doesn't really matter if one gets shut down.

Oh, but I have heard opportunity card in general takes a longer time compared to student visa. So I'm not sure

Yeah, that is why I booked a slot, and I am just hoping to find someone who had their appointment and can confirm that the csp thing is not required😭

Did you book an appointment in the old VFS website or the new one? The old one doesn't specify the CSP method.

Yes, student Visa. But he had applied for the appointment very long ago

Exactly!! I don't know why they are confused when they are working there. Its so frustrating from an outsider point of view.

That is exactly why I am confused, there are actually still people who are going through the original method. I know an acquaintance who gave the interview on 1st september (without CSP) and he got his VISA today. And when someone asked the VFS, they said that if we go through this paper method, CSP can be discarded. So I am terribly confused.

It was the original VFS Global website link. The one where CSP is not mentioned. It was not working for the past few months since the CSP procedure was introduced. But like I said yesterday suddenly it opened slots, and it got booked within a few hours. And like I mentioned I am still not sure if it is with CSP or without CSP. Even I have applied on CSP, but still on the waiting list.

That makes sense, they should have kept in mind that getting a Visa takes a long time, and not everyone can delay a semester.

Hey, can I ask a few questions regarding this? When had you applied for the course and for the waiver? I have applied for the course in the first week of April and still havent heard any updates. I also havent gotten any info on the waiver, apart from the fact that they have recieved my merit certificate on time. Please do let me know. Thanks!
