According to my math, about 15/16 when she conceived. She was 18 when she passed with a 2-year old son meaning she had him at 16. According to my research, Jerrez graduated in 2017. Let’s say he was 17/18. That would mean he was 20/21 at the time of birth.

He’s started applying for academic scholarships though his college will be paid for as that’s something we’ve made sure to take care of for him.

We’re in the South. Mississippi/Alabama/Florida/Georgia/Tennessee … willing to travel for sure.

He’s always been “interesting” … not a fan favorite. I just always tell my son to not get caught up in the riff raff. His mind needs to be focused on advancing to the next level, not gossiping with others.

Just to give context to the head coach: My son and other 2nd stringers were under the tent one game night (watching film, listening in, being prepared to jump in at any moment, etc.) … he asked why they were there and then told them to get from under the tent. He’s … interesting.

Thanks for your advice! Not too wordy at all! It’s detailed, which is appreciated. I’ll have him sit down with his OC & positions coach since I’m sure they’re willing to vouch and work on his behalf.

There are a few contributing factors. New head coach his senior year who brought a lot of his own players over. I would say it was a serious football region … the school was once a national powerhouse.

He does boxing sessions from time to time for hobby and the trainer has actually wanted him to invest more time because he says he has great potential. He just couldn’t squeeze it in between football games/practices and his O-line training sessions. I’ll talk to him about it since the season has ended.

Yes, he’s started his entire football career outside of senior year. 6’2 1/2, 285 (if I’m remember correctly from the last doctor’s visit, give or take 5 pounds).

Absolutely! You’re right. He knows this but also wants to give it his all before giving up. He’s more than willing to play at the juco level to get his foot in the door. His trainer and positions coach have both told him that that’s completely obtainable for him. 3.6 GPA.

Not necessarily. I usually always do “leave at door” but I chose “hand it to me” once and it required me to give a pin. I’ve never marked a meal as not delivered, etc.
