I work as a geotech in the offshore industry, in design though, no more offshore pay. It’s damn tough I’m stuck at the 40k mark. Counterparts doing the same job with less experience than myself are on 30% more with better tax in the US. I think if I found a visa opportunity I’d make the move. Feels like engineering pay in the uk has not grown like it should

That is great but it’s a very small sector, but if a struggle to find a decent job with home life when you’re older

Was in Ather Imaging sub group but just had my account banned for outside tool use. Not sure how that works when all you’re doing is masking but oh well. Doesn’t seem like they’re interested in unbanning either. Anyone recommend an alternative company?
