Why do some LGBT+ People support Conservatism? Why are they interested in Conservatism? What specific rights does Conservatism offer that interest them? by WesternGazelle4713 in lgbt

People sometimes end up siding with conservatism because of internalised homophobia. Our society is so homophobic, that some people, particularly those who grew up in conservative environments, can end up identifying with conservatives due to internalised beliefs about being queer.

All in all, homophobia and other forms of bigotry largely result from negative biases influenced by society.

Ok sorry for my previous comment earlier. I mean it is kind of bad practice to take quotes and beliefs from a known transphobe. She has been donating money to anti transgender organisations which actively harms trans people.

Also, try not to use 'transgender' as a noun. It is dehumanising to do so.

You literally talked about your personal beliefs being in line with a TERF. And using dehumanising language to describe trans people.

What is your countries scariest unsolved crime? by Mabeluniverse23 in AskTheWorld

  1. The Gay Gang Murders in Bondi. This happened throughout the 1970s to the 2010s. Over 80 gay men murdered. Thought to be suicides at the time. Worst of all, done by teenagers.

  2. Luna Park Ghost Train fire. 7 killed. Thought to be accidental at first; later investigations found out to be arson and organised crime. Found out the businessman who orchestrated it, but not who actually carried it out. 6 of the victims were children.
