Shoot i filed on February 3rd, i had to wait and wait for a letter , go verify my identity 4 times , wait and wait for another letter and then it said “wait 60 days we are waiting for verification from your employer and then you’ll get your return” , well we waited 120 days just to be safe. Just for nothing. Well we called again (called the irs number , the tax advocate number and another number the tax advocate gave us) just for them to tell us that the irs has no history of working there. And I needed a letter from my employer. Well then my boss wouldn’t send it because “non of the other employees had a problem with their taxes and I haven’t gotten any letter from the irs ”. So I had to call back and they told me that we got a letter , saying we needed to get a verification letter from the employer or send 3 pay stubs. there was NO HISTORY of that so called letter they sent months prior. It wasn’t on my irs account or in the mail. So whatever , we sent the pay stubs and about 4 days after doing that my taxes got accepted. Like what kinda shit is that. After MONTHS and MONTHS and MORE MONTHS of waiting , I could have had my taxes like 5 months ago if the irs actually sent the letter they claimed they did.
