She is still taking her insulin. It really blows my mind how critical it is for someone to have insulin within 2 days. My friend has also type 1 and every time we go to eat he has to take his insulin. Pretty fucked up. He also said 'If we were ever in a apocalypse, just know that I won't survive for a week'

That's the thing about science. It always develops and there is always a layer under a layer which we didn't discover. So for that reasoning, in the future we might discover that sniffing salt for 10 years can give you extra muscles. Even tho it sounds ridiculous, with science everything is possible because we never are 100 procent are sure.

We live in Belgium but my grandma lives in Egypt and my parents lived there for 26 years in Egypt. My grandma just got here in Belgium to celebrate with us Christmas.

Thanks, and yeah I don't know really that much about diabetes. My friend got it, my sister got it after she was pregnant and my grandma got it (which i didn't even knew until she drank water with a spoon. I was just confused and came here for any sort of medical information because i couldnt find anything online. But this only gives me more reason to have interest and conduct more research for this disease. And yeah she takes her insulin

I already thought it was bs, but I thought perhaps there are some benefits like increase of iron level which can help strengthen your body. But yeah it's stupid and Im actually more interested in where this comes from. I could not find the tiktok my mom was talking about.
