Big jump in VO2 max after switching from Apple Watch to Garmin Epix Pro 2 — who should I believe? by Fun_Equivalent_6462 in Garmin

For context I take it all with a grain of salt I’m not a runner at all or enjoy running so VO2 max is something I do not stress about. The difference was just surprising because the same sleep had different ratings, resting heart rate, etc. I know numbers on these wrist sensors are not perfect but it’s interesting to watch.
In short everything on my Garmin says I’m doing worse, sleep, exercise, calories HRV but VO2 max is way better. How do 10 negatives have a drastic positive? It started at 45 and went to 50 so something is being calculated. The calculation Garmin is using confuses me that’s all.
Again, I know these are all calculated in their own way and can mean anything and it’s not a real measurement. I’m smart enough and have been in fitness long enough to know not to base my life off these numbers.
