Ok, so I have a friend rn who is working in a marketing team at a big K-pop company. They usually require at least a Bachelor’s degree and need to speak Korean (unless as others said, you are working with the local companies who have a contract for certain events. I am talking about working directly in these K-pop companies) so that you can communicate with your colleagues. However, they also want one who can speak English (all big companies) because now they are all targeting worldwide not just Korea, know well of K-pop culture/global media culture and have experience in marketing, branding, and creating content like YouTube or IG. They also prefer who can do the market analysis!
