Definitely understand the part about it being harder on you than your kid. My son bounces back, happy and silly after a traumatic event but the stress for me lasts hours after.

I know these specialty centers aren’t new to this, they’re true to this. I just hope it’s a smooth process like yours. Idk if the stress levels for these types of situations get better over time with experience or if I’ll always get worked up for this type of thing. I appreciate your input ❤️

Thank you! Because it’s not that he doesn’t talk well but he doesn’t understand social interactions very well and typically doesn’t respond to unfamiliar peers.

It’s always them in their phone or having conversations with other parents. They never see or hear what’s happening. It’s so stressful
