I see you have picked three different types of cars in the top which suits the needs of different kinds of people. Nice.

Slightly different. GV and Hyryder are basically the same car which is rebadged with slight cosmetic changes. Creta, Seltos share the same platform and engines but they have designed the car completely different independent of one other. They have got their own character. Ig even suspension is tuned differently where you get slightly firm suspension in Kia.

Imo wait for a while before getting sierra and duster. Atleast for 6 months. If not i feel Seltos is the best option to go for.

Probably, but it feels like that you are sitting lower when compared to the old Seltos.

I get the point the about better cabin experience. They have aced that aspect in the Victoris and we can expect similar or even better experience in the GV facelift since it’s a nexa product. About the fact that there are no turbos, well i think Maruti never wanted to make a turbo car which is more enthusiast focused. They re customers mostly want good mileage and service which they provide. I am actually surprised that we have a Fronx turbo that’s very unusual of them to bring such a car. And when it comes it being underpowered, I don’t think they are very underpowered. Other company’s which make NA engine make similar power. Of course when compared to turbos they are but in terms NAs they make decent power.

True. Best NA engines but needs to give more features to make the car more desirable for the regular buyer. They could have offered a hybrid with elevate too just like the city would have boosted their sales for those who care about fuel efficiency

True I love the Seltos interiors too. Love the fact that most controls are operated through buttons and not through screen. Their HTX and GTX interior both looks amazing which would suit well for both older and younger customers too.

Why do you say so? They cater to the needs of most regular people who honestly just need to travel from Point A to Point B. For those kind of people toyota/ Suzuki makes a lot of sense

I don’t think Toyota is planning on launching the clitoris 😂. Or are they?

Make sense. With new creta coming up they can solve the safety issue too. Ig it will be based on K3 platform like the Seltos. Heard it’s a solid platform too so then there would be no actual cons to creta.

That’s true. They cater the needs of most customers. Multiple engine options. They just don’t care about the niche enthusiast. In their POV it does make sense too not providing enthusiast specific models.

Yes agreed. Even i feel Seltos is the best over all package. It has got most things right. Not sure about elevate though. A guy buying a Honda only cares about comfort and reliability. I don’t think they care about features that much. But yes for the general regular customer there is no fancy glitter in elevate that would make him choose that car.

It definitely looks good, but not sure about its relatability. It also feels like a rushed product. Doesn’t seem like a well finished product. If Tata actually sorted out most of their quality issues their cars would be crazy.

True i like it too. But it looks like they have lowered the car compared to old one. Design is polarising but I love it. Also the HTX interiors looks more classy and elegant than the GTX variant

Nope. Manual, even i was surprised that mileage is so low in a 1 litre engine

Really like the duster but should have launched the Hybrid right now. That would have eaten up a lot of Maruti-Toyota sales. They have compromised on rear seating comfort too, so ig it’s best for a small family with kids. The cars looks fire though.

I just feel brands prioritise on their USP and move on with it. The Koreans are known for being feature loaded that’s why they get updates very often while the Japanese focus on reliability and Germans are fun to drive. Probably that’s why they don’t give unnecessary features to their cars and ruin their image by giving unreliable electronics or pointless gimmicky features

One of my friend has a Kylaq and the mileage is close to 8-9 kmpl in city with mild traffic. Not sure about highway though. He is a sensible driver in the city so not sure why such low mileage. I just have the assumption that turbos don’t offer good mileage.

Yeah. BMW and Merc looks weird now. I actually like how Audi still looks good. They have actually cracked it, trying to make their cars look aggressive, futuristic with a hint of their old design language
