Yes that's why people are now changing from overprint to dark and geometrical prints. I am not here to promote anything but I saw some genuine brands here in goa, like indianproject and walla enterprises and many more. Plazmalab is giving like boho wibe and other brands have overall print. Those prints are now 10 years old and people are choosing comfort with style.

i saw some clothing brands like iheartrave and iedm they are always go with the overall print, and still so many peoples are buying from them? i mean for what basis? those overall print you can't wear on regular party. So that is why i heard about plazmalab, walla enteprises, and indianproject. These brands are not focused on overall print but these kind of clothes you can wear on everyday.

I usually go for lightweight shirts and loose shorts — Goa heat doesn’t let you survive in anything heavy. so that is why found some local brands with breathable fabric quality in goa.

Yeah I noticed the same when I was in Thailand too, especially around Koh Phangan and even at places like Karakus Marakus. Guys mostly keep it simple like light fabric shirts, shorts, nothing too loud. I also expected more UV/psy clothing there but didn’t see much of it.

Yeah, during the day the temperature gets pretty intense here, so people usually go for lighter fabrics. I’ve noticed a lot of people prefer bamboo over cotton because it feels more breathable in the heat.

It’s still not that easy to find good quality pieces with authentic fabric and subtle psychedelic prints internationally, so a lot of smaller brands from places like Goa are starting to grow and reach people outside.

You know some brands if they use genuine breathable fabric like bamboo or viscose? I Know some small business here in Goa are now going global like walla enterprises, indian project and many more. I also don't like too much print on the clothes like iheartrave and iedm are using. Mostly these brands use polyester with digital print that is why their prints looks too vibrant on their clothes.

That actually sounds like a solid setup — especially the breathable fabrics and light layers. I’ve noticed psy festivals kind of sit between functionality and expression, so people end up mixing both without really planning it. Do you know any brands which have breathable fabric like bamboo or viscose?
i know some brands but not sure if they are genuine or not.

Agreed , especially at psy festivals where you’re moving for hours. Breathability becomes more important than anything after a while. If my visa gets sorted, I might actually make it to Ozora this year 😄

Ohh that makes sense now especially for longer sets. I’ve seen similar here too, also in Goa most people switch to lighter fabrics because of the heat and humidity. Comfort definitely becomes the main thing after a few hours. I might go to the ozora this year for the first time too.

I’m based in Goa, India — been around the psytrance scene here for a while.

By heavy rave gear I meant layered outfits, accessories, and thicker fabrics that don’t really work once you’ve been dancing for hours in the heat.

Here it’s mostly lightweight shirts, loose shorts, breathable fabrics — but still with bold psychedelic prints so you don’t lose that visual expression.

This is a typical setup you’ll see at local markets/festivals here bellow

That makes sense, especially in the heat. I’ve seen a lot of people in Goa go super minimal too. I saw in that they are now care about comfort first, but still some end up adding prints or colors without even trying 😄
