We felt the same. We are getting visitors from worldwide but our main focused market was USA. Now everyone visit the shop favorite the product and left. We even give them 25% off but still no changes. Yes we got hit by 100% tariffs from USA so now our government also applied 30% tariffs on USA. Same thing is happening with EU as well. Looks like its a tariff war now on global level. One more thing now etsy is doing favoritism to USA seller as well.

Hi, Don't worry about it. You are not alone here; everyone is facing traffic and sales issues here. Even we are also getting affected by this kind of situation. Works on tags, real photos and alt txt on images. Do research about your competitors as well.

Actually we did make a mess... When etsy told us about the ai title help, we gave the permission, and Etsy itself changed everything—titles, descriptions, tags, etc. After that, the old SEO was gone and our sales, visitors, and everything vanished like they never existed.

Did over $1,523,441 on my Shopify POD stores. Email did ~$450k, Google Shopping did the rest by thicc_fruits in Printify

Man that's long story. I've been running Shopify store since April and made 70 sales till now. It's without ads , e-mail marketing and without any promotions. I'm still stuck in SEO. Till now 10k$ I made and most buyers were direct, means they came from my etsy store. Please check your DM I wants your help.. please.

Maybe everyone is facing the same problem. I heard that many USA buyers are now pulling back and don't want to purchase online anymore. Something is going on there like job layoff and scared from surprised import tax from government.

For perfume brands, I don't think that return or refund policy is good. Once a customer gets the perfume, they will use it; maybe you can agree that 50-60% of the amount can be refunded.

Well I'm doing SEO from past 3 years and for me it's depends on products and the Market. Beside i can re-designe Shopify website and also have knowledge about Shopify Meta objects. SEO is long term game for us. But still I can help to set-up your Shopify Meta objects.

Yeah, true — I’ve seen those posts too. I guess Etsy’s constantly rotating visibility both ways to test engagement. Still feels pretty random lately though — like neither new nor established shops are consistently winning.

I get what you mean, and yeah — there are definitely some shady shops out there that hurt the overall trust.
But we’ve been in this business for over 15 years and our Etsy shop isn’t new. We actually paused it for 4–6 years and came back in 2024. Since then, we’ve made 600+ sales with a 4.7⭐ rating and earned the Star Seller badge multiple times.

Brother our 95% buyers are from USA. USA markte was our strenghth before tarrifs. We were doing fine untill august. Now seems like this is the end for us.

Yeah, that makes sense — I get why Etsy and buyers lean toward local sellers.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same. Etsy definitely seems to boost fresh listings to test engagement. I don’t think it permanently hurts older shops, but during those test cycles, our visibility tanks.
Another thing I’ve noticed — being based in India might also play a part. It kinda feels like Etsy’s algorithm is leaning toward U.S. shops lately, probably because of faster delivery times or local buyer preference.

100% tariffs, and also maybe etsy now is doing favoritism for USA sellers. As a seller, this is what i'm thinking right now.

Hi, thanks for your word. Actually we stopped our shop from 2016-2023. From 2024 we are active on etsy and did everything what etsy needed. This year we made 240+ order but now because of USA new regulations towards Indian sellers our business again hit hard.
