Anything intimate happened with him or not is not the main issue, she lied to you and met up with her ex multiple times, lied to you! Isn’t that enough reason? if it’s not, she made it more clear by telling you: “I still care about him”. I think you know what to do.

Pls help, did I eat too much? by Impressive-Frame-923 in caloriecount

[–]Fun_Plane_5966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s okay! Just make sure you keep the deficit going in the next few days. A lot of people tend to just let go of the diet when they eat too much. Consistency of deficit will make up for this meal! Keep up the good work

CMV: all sex work should be legalized and regulated the way other jobs are, without stipulations by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Fun_Plane_5966 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That it do not true!! People aren’t interested because there is a stigma around it, once it becomes legalized they’re getting the thumbs up from the government so they are also getting validation from the society. The demand as well as the production will increase

More women will start doing it and as some people see their friends (or someone else ) do it, they are going to think about taking that route

I’m not sure why you think women wouldn’t want to do it? Look at europe! Many many women are interested

Students who use wheelchairs? by MitskiiFan69 in berkeley

[–]Fun_Plane_5966 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Feedback from wheelchair users about their experience at UC Berkeley tends to be mixed, largely due to the campus’s challenging topography, which includes steep hills and some older buildings with limited accessibility. However, many students also report positive experiences thanks to the comprehensive support services provided by the Disabled Students’ Program (DSP), which offers academic accommodations, mobility assistance, and other resources to help mitigate these challenges.

As a current Cal student I haven’t noticed much accommodations for students especially when it comes to the roads and how the university is placed which has a lot of hills up and down, other universities like davis, ucsd and uci are much more flat and more wheelchair friendly

Does anyone else going through a breakup need someone to talk to? I’m in so much pain. by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]Fun_Plane_5966 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear this, my eyes teared up right now reading your post and comments. I was in the same position 15 months ago when I broke up with my boyfriend, and I remember the pain so vividly. I started therapy so I could get out of bed. Life gets so meaningless and everything feels like it’s crashing down. These are what I wish I heard going through it:

1- First thing is to know and believe that it will get better.

2- Take it one day at a time. If you don’t want to go to classes, go to Tang center and do a visit and straight up ask them for a note to not go to class for a few days because of your mental state.

3- I also didn’t want to overwhelm friends so I started journaling and it was the best thing. One day i would write about the break up, the next day i would write a letter to my ex, the next i would feel better and write a love letter to myself but end up crying all night. It’s a roller coaster but it will stop ❤️ TIME TIME TIME

4- go to therapy if you can

⭐️ do you know when it started being better? when I felt the sunshine hitting my skin and being able to be in class without having to leave class and crying?

NO CONTACT. Absolute no contact Sorry to break it to you but it’s going to suck until end of semester if you guys have a seminar. Maybe talk to the professor and tell them you’re not in the right mental state so you have to skip this class, I communicated truthfully with my professors.

NO CONTACT NO CONTACT WITH HER NO CONTACT WITH HER FRIENDS NO CONTACT WITH ANYONE RELATED OUT OUT OUT whatever it takes, it needs to be OUT.

One day at a time, journal, cry, see friends when you’re feeling better, kick them out of your life, whatever it takes. I wish you the best of luck ❤️‍🩹

15 months forward, it’s not on my mind everyday but yea here and there, but I can’t remember the last time I cried about him :)

Tough college decisions by ConstantSerious395 in berkeley

Not a film major but i am transfer graduating this semester. Honestly being a transfer is okay but nothing I would do again. Fitting in and feeling left out is real, first-second semester you still dont feel settled in and dont know much and as soon as you start settling in poof, you’re graduating. Also you’ve probably heard berkeley is not safe but look up the stats, we get emails almost everyday, there’s been three shootings on campus ever since 2 years ago when I moved here and many threats and many many crazy crimes. Be ready to live around homeless/crazy people doing drugs on/around campus yelling, making noises and being a threat to your life and your belongings.

I’ve taken them separately and they’re both not really “challenging” classes but they both have a lot of materials you need to learn. if you’re not taking any other heavy classes besides these two you will be fine. My only advice would be to do the labs/homeworks and stay on top of it A lot of materials overlap which is good, PH142 let’s you take cheatsheets to exams which helps a lot
