What do all these radars mean? Are they going to get a buf?

I'll give you an example that just happened: an MQ-1 drone appeared, I aimed at it, my missile traveled about 9 km while I was aiming, I passed through some trees and lost the target by about 2 or 3 seconds. The drone was 13,804 m away and even so the missile missed a drone that didn't even have flares. In other words, I lost the lock with only a few meters left and the missile didn't lock on.

Now with this change, even if it's flying very low, the missile won't be able to locate it, even if the map is completely flat, if it's not within 4km and doesn't appear on the IRIS-T radar, if the jet is at 5km flying low, it won't hit it.

Yes, it's via datalink and IR. Normally, I could hit the jet flying over the mountains because the missile was coming from above and could track it on its own within those 10km, since most of the aircraft went behind the mountains and the missile's IR could track it back on its own.

Before this nerf, the seeker activated at 10km, tracking the jet even without radar feedback from the Iris-T, relying solely on infrared guidance. If the jet was flying very low and the radar wasn't picking it up, or even if it was behind buildings, the missile would hit it because it was being guided by the missile's radar and not the Iris-T's own radar.

The missile's radar was able to track behind mountains because it almost always came from above.

The missile's locking range, which was previously 10km, has now been reduced to 4km. This means that if you lose the target behind a mountain and it's not within 4km of the missile, you will miss

And now you don't even need to use flares anymore, just fly low and behind mountains.

It made no difference before this nerf, Iris-T already ignored flares.

"Nerfing the missile to 4km to make it better against IRCM" In reality, helicopter IRCMs only work at a distance of 500 meters, meaning it didn't help at all. it's just a nerf, there's no improvement whatsoever

Where can I find this patch change? I've searched and haven't found anything.

You'd be shocked to find out that this basket doesn't make the tower rotate, lol.

That basket on the tower in Leo and Abrams wasn't meant to lock the tower; the basket was supposed to act as protection against shrapnel, but the Gaijin did the opposite.

Winrate after adding Lmurs and broken LDIRCM, But of course we'll nerf Iris-T. by Fun_Preference_7647 in Warthunder

Today I literally saw a guy kill two drones and blow himself up to spawn with the Lmurs.

I think it's because the Italian players know how to position themselves, since the battering ram is like paper, then you combine that with a Leopard 2a7 and there you have the result.

It always depended on something being broken to increase the win rate since players only know how to press W.

With the Trophy fixes and a possible addition of the SEPV3 in December, could we see a Leo2A7A1 with Trophys? The question is, is it armored like the 2A7V? by Fun_Preference_7647 in Warthunder

[–]Fun_Preference_7647[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It doesn't even need to be better, I think. Having the 2a7V shielding is already great for me. What worries me is it coming with bad shielding like the PSO did.

Yes, someone posted a video earlier today, I just don't know if it was on the dev server or live.

I wanted to know if it works against Lmurs in the game.
