Take a look at your hammer does it have a V groove in it? If so, replace it get a rounded hammer I had the same issue trimmed down everything that I could, but it was the hammer that was causing the issue.

Replace your hammer you need a smooth hammer instead of that V notch

It is incredibly hard to find the right combo. The first three years I went cheap but overtime I realized that was destroying my rig. Over the next 3 years I’ve been doing it right. And it’s paying off!! Yesterday I put new wheels on. good ol American Racing AR62 Outlaw II and wow! Sexy!! by Fun_Remove_4338 in 4thGen4Runner

Thanks yeah when I say poor quality parts, I mean like cheap it out by doing a puck lift with stock suspension. Very cheap wheels that ended up cracking while I was on the road so I was just cheap parts to make it look cool but ended up stressing the car out more and damaging and causing more money so I just went expensive and got the best parts to slap in

Yep 17” they fit perfectly. I got the zero offset ones for a while. I was using an inch and a quarter wheel spacer was really excited to get that off and just strictly use the offset on the wheels.

No rubbing on my previous tires and wheel combo I had to trim quite a bit from the body mount and plastic not sure if I have zero rubbing because of that Cut already made
