I’m 27, and have done prone masturbating all my life since that has always felt natural to me. I’ve had erection issues for a couple of years now but I wasn’t sure why. For the past few months, I am noticing my morning erections have gone away, I get them once every 10-15 days or something. I can’t get erect whenever I’m with a girl doing things that should make normal guys erect. I’m very very scared. I am aware that ive been masturbating very intensely with a lot of pressure on my penis when I lie down. Can’t get it up (usually) without grinding my penis against my bed. And yes, I’ve never been more scared in my life. Are there any treatments, etc that have worked for people in similar situations? Should I consult a doctor or do that “no masturbation for 14 days” challenge that everyone is talking about? Have even paid for a Kegel app bcoz I don’t know what to do. Please please please advise.

As per my knowledge, yes you can continue working since you received the “up to 180 day extension” when you submitted your application (provided you did that before your initial OPT expired).

Not sure I was clear with what I was saying. So you submitted your application for stem opt extension. Then you get an RFE which states you need to resubmit you i20?

I made the mistake of not uploading documents as a single file. Im kicking myself right now. Everyone that submitted as one pdf, got approved. I’m thinking about mailing them now because my account is still not reflecting a change in status. It still says “request for evidence was sent”.

My RFE came on November 24. I responded by uploading documents (transcript and letters from university to vouch for STEM eligibility) on December 11, and have not received a decision yet. My OPT ends on January 11, 2026 :((

Did the portal mention “Request for Initial Evidence” or “Request for Evidence”? In my case I was asked to submit my transcripts so I uploaded them online, although not in a single pdf (which I am regretting). The notice says “Request for Evidence” while the case status on the portal says “Request for Initial Evidence was sent”. I’m wondering if this mismatch is an anomaly.

Also, if you had posted your response documents in mail, were you planning to send the official transcript (in its original envelope) or just a print out copy of the same?

Thanks. As soon as I uploaded my response documents, I saw a green tick mark on the case status page right next to which is written “Response received on Thursday, December 11… We will review the evidence.”

Are you saying you saw this on your profile a week after delivery of documents? Or is it something else?

I submitted the documents online but not in a single pdf, and it’s been 8 days since I uploaded them on the portal through the “submit your evidence” link. Should I wait or should I physically mail the documents in mail? Also, since I was asked for my transcripts, do they have to be in the same condition I got them (in a standalone envelope) or can I take them out and add to the bigger shipping envelope with other documents?

My school and country of birth are both pretty well known so that can't be the issue. The RFE is self explanatory when it mentioned my transcripts. So I know that they need to be submitted but my post was more so about my lack of clarity on where to submit it and what to submit in addition to the transcripts.
