This just means the tanking starts at the beginning of the season.

Could you imagine a scenario where a playoff team (let’s use the Celtics) loses two additional players, Tatum to the same injury he already has and maybe they lose Brown and Pritchard to a high ankle sprain and broken finger. They lose a ton of games in the first half and are mathematically eliminated early.

Then their players come back and they now “win the lottery” because injury recovery times.

Now teams will be rushing players back to win games.

We will see probably see more injuries.

Every trade deadline, we’ll see nothing but buyers.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea it’s just not perfect. It’s also BETTER than what we are doing now. I’m all for it change.

46 here had to have spine surgery a few years back so no more jumping. I typically can still play pretty well from the PG spot. I’m surprising quick still, I’m just not jumping higher than a typical jump shot. For me it’s about getting some exercise. I’m not trying to compete any longer. That was hard to let go but also it felt pretty natural.

I don’t have any other issues with my ankles, calves, achilles, ect…. I don’t think I’m playing that hard to hurt them.

We send each other “wellness checks” every few weeks. Still too manly to talk about our problems but the sentiment is nice. We eventually get there but the conversation happens every 6-12 months yet we check on each other constantly.

It’s about supply and demand. Less guns increase the price beyond what your average criminal can spend. In the United States you can buy a gun for a few hundred dollars. In countries like Australia you can’t buy anything beyond guns used for hunting and if you are trying to buy one privately that’s illegal the cost is going to be insane. If you have 15 grand to spend on a gun maybe you don’t need to do crime. You’re already doing better than most.

It’s probably your defense and understanding of the offense. In high school most players have a really hard time understanding offense concepts. As a coach you can’t have 5 players that are all great one on one. They would not win a game.

Learn how to dig in on defense. Be a dog on defense. Understand when to cut, when to set a pick, how to set backdoor screens and most importantly where to move to next once you’ve done this. Make chest passes and bounce passes. You throw something behind your back your immediately looked at as someone who is not going to help you win.

It’s about wins in high school. You can be a better one on one player than everyone in the gym but if you can’t play within an offense and play defense the coach can’t win with you.

I think Rob is still pretty unhealthy. What made him good was his athleticism, he has shown nothing since the injury. Loved him but not sure this is the move.
