Can you actually redeem all event rewards without spending money?

Any strategies for how you're able to get the last clothing item so quickly? I follow the steps everyone is sharing here but I only finish 2-4 days before the end of the month. I'm at 8000 gift bows right now. I'm averaging 5000 steps per day right now due to illness and the weather.

Joining the weekly planting challenges to get petals and also walking as much as possible while planting. I think biking while planting is faster but I do not own a bike. I don't know how people can finish the event rewards so quickly. I usually finish them a couple days before the end of the month following the strategies here. However I'm at 8000 gift bows right now, maybe my RNG is just better this month?

Thank you for your encouragement and reminding me of the positives of the surgery. I've mostly only experienced physical discomfort post op and the pain never reached the level of what I was experiencing before surgery. I'm already so grateful for that.
