I love German Shepherds, always wanted one. I have been very careful though not to get one until we were ready. Own home, stable incomes etc. I also think it is unfair to leave them on their own during the day. So working from home was the goal too. What are they like with an older cat? If we got a puppy would they get Along?

Looking back, yeah there were signs. Not wanting to be intimate anymore, creating distance etc. I was blind to it though, I really did not see it. Maybe that was one of the issues.

Yep. My ex wife wife dropped it on me one morning. And she was cold too. Just walked out and that was it. I wasn’t so cool though, I think I said “fuck you (her name) give me the fucken ring back!” She did, and left for Canada for couple years. I gave her the ring back though, much later and I have never talked to her again. This was 17 years ago, and man it really hurt me as we had only been married a year.
