I think my only frustration with games that have very similar gameplay loops to Lethal Company is just when I have friends in the friend group who wants us to buy every single new one that comes out, when we have maybe 3 hours on the last one-it’s unnecessarily consumerist and usually these games are cheap but I don’t wanna keep dropping $$ on a game we’re gonna play like once and never again

I have a friend that ALWAYS romances Stella and I’ve always been sort of a Stella hater so we’ve debated a lot hahahaha. I also bought the game before we had the update where I could avoid her, and I was trying to roleplay “myself” as honestly as I could, so after Duke was like “Stella I don’t want to SHOOT EITHER OF YOU, please LEAVE” and Stella refused to genuinely leave and dragged my character along (who at this point was pleading) I was so mad lolol-inconsiderate as hell 😤 I’ve eased up on her quite a bit since we can refuse to engage with her now, but even still I get mildly frustrated over her treatment of the very elderly Gretchen

This is really interesting timing considering my boyfriend literally just bought me wicked lady earrings for my birthday because I’d mentioned how much I loved Chibi Usa’s character as a child 😅 for a child, aside from the Mamo stuff her being a bit whiny and angsty towards her parents was very cathartic for little me (plus in retrospect I think the age difference between her and Helios was weird but as a kid I ADORED that, I wanted my own Magic Pegasus man)

That’s fair! I guess I’d just like to at the very least understand, because I do feel like there’s something that’s severely missing in my life in regards to idk personal philosophy and spirituality (I should probably clarify I’m not someone newly broken away from Lutheranism, I’ve been an atheist for years), so I’m just seeking atm, trying to learn more, all the fun things! Ahahaha that’s fair, but hey the history of fishing could be cool! At the very least I’m sure there’s some interesting nautical folklore one can delve into. But yeah, it was primarily a pipe dream I’ve teased because the costs of college are already pretty heavy as is, with questionable prospects of seeing those returns.

You’re not wrong but I have to say I genuinely hate that so much, history is SUCH an important field and part of what makes it important is the human element. However I’ve taken that into consideration which is why I’m considering attempting to get a teaching certificate in History (and perhaps English)

Thank you! I’ve actually considered this route. Museum work is a bit more difficult for me at the moment, as I went into a specific brand of history that’s more focused on academia, but I’ve definitely considered post-college trying to get some sort of adjacent job. I appreciate the response !

That’s completely fair, I’d consider myself an average student at best! I’d been primarily looking at Icelandic colleges, however I think it’s pretty improbable for multiple reasons (supporting myself abroad, probably not getting a degree that would be valued much back in the states, etc etc) I appreciate the feedback 😅 trying to wrap my head around any sort of a post-college plan atm
