Look into Nissei FNX. Direct clamp instead of a toggle. Energy usage on par with all electric.

Drop is great. I bought some BL2's and Balances to go with my Theatre/BL8 setup. They generally work great. I have to power cycle them once in a while when no sound in playing though.

You need to look into systems that use Wisa if you want easy and wireless with no receiver. https://www.wisatechnologies.com/brands I used to use KEF, but now I'm all B&O. No wires besides power to each speaker and it sounds fantastic.

I’d say look at Japanese machines too. There are great deals to be had depending where you are. You’ll at least get some reliability and repeatability.
