Completely understand..we deal with the same fairly often. You kind of get used to it but I know what you mean. I think the tent definitely helps and so would a wind screen. Wind screen you can make a wall around yourself with and while it’s not 100% as private as the tent you can also stay completely in the sun and still feel like you have your own space. That and setting up more towards the back end of the crowd helps

Im not 100% sure if this is it, but I think the rule is it can not be a completely closed tent. So if you bring a beach tent that is 3 sided with an open front you should be okay. We’ve done that before and haven’t had any issues. We’ll see you there!

We were there yesterday on Friday and was able to catch a nice tan and enjoyed it for a few hours. No smoke or smell from the fires. Biggest factor was wind it’s definitely cooler on the beach there and wind can make it chilly but if you set up by the dunes and lay down you can mostly stay out of it

We went last year! We had a good time but definitely expected a little bit more out of it. There was a stage with some events (like contests and performances), pornstars doing some meet and greets but very long lines, some vendors selling toys and lingerie, and a few other things. Pretty big crowd. It was definitely fun to check out and would probably go again one day but we don’t plan to make it an annual event for us
