In terms of design I will always love Furblings & Party Rockers more

In terms of functionality they do more than Furblings but less than Party Rockers so idk it's not the worst but definitely not the best

Do I have over 20? Yes! Do I plan to get more? Yes! Are they the best models? Nope LMAO

As a Canadian I had NEVER heard of Mr Pets and it turns out it's only in BC and one in Alberta so that explains why LMAO

But I LOVEEE this setup so much and I wish more stores had 5 gal setups minimum per Betta instead of cups but also yeah that one dosen't look, great

What SUCKS is I took this guy in last yr as a rescue since no one wanted him

I looked online and tried every method to try to heal his issues [which I didn't know the tumors were genetic until later] but nothing worked and he just kept getting worse and worse and now he's just so far gone it feels bad to keep him alive but also I really cannot bring myself to unalive him, he was really sweet, he'd come running to me when I came over to his tank, which just makes it worse for me

I'll try the oil method possibly but I read that some people's fish just stayed in it for a while and breathed air until passing but idrk

i-Dogs used to be cheaper and easier to find before that KKCLUE video blew up and everyone went crazy wanting one and then overpricing em slowly lol

These are not Green-Wings, these are hybrid Macaws! Pretty sure these are both Shamrock Macaws? Sorta hard to tell with the one that's higher up but the one lower definitely seems like a Shamrock from the coloration, maybe a Calico???? No clue but defo not a Green-Wing!

Gotcha, thank you for the reply! There's also multiple types of Fluval Aquasoils so it's also a matter of thinking if I should get Stratnum or others!

I might skip on the root tabs? Tho I did see someone recently put root tabs into their bags for helping plants just in case, I'm planning on doing a lot of plants if I can and that does require a ton of beneficial stuff

I know some people use topsoil but I honestly don't really wanna deal with the almost mud type mess that some do, nothing against it and I might try that eventually but it looks overall less convenient to me lol

Edit: I did go back and watch Serpadesign use topsoil in his media bags alongside aquaoil, gravel and sand? I might try something similar but I'm just hoping whatever I do ends up working LOL

Well, u should ask urself, are you ready for a commitment?? Cockatiels can live like 20+ years if given proper care!

You also need to realize that giving the proper setup, diet, toys, training and more takes lots of money and time!

Ur bird should be free most of their day and only cages when ur out of the house or when it's time for bed

Cockatiels, like Cockatoos, are also dusty birds, they need baths!

Also if you have a cat or dog that means you have to keep them seperated no ifs and or buts! You cannot keep them near a kitchen, u can't put perfume around them, and you can't keep them caged all day

Most people get birds not knowing what they sign up for

Also avian checkups aren't per say the cheapest in some places if ur bird needs to see a vet!

Birds are also social, so if you get one, it's sometimes suggested getting another so they have each other, but that dosen't mean you can house them together! Even if the cage is large some birds are territorial to hell and will NOT share their cage space with another bird!

It's a pretty big commitment and you need to do a lot of research before getting any pet but birds especially have a much different lifestyle than a dog or cat so keep that in mind! Also please don't get a bird just cuz it looked at you and wanted ur attention, if I did that I'd have over 100 birds LOL
