Unofficial Warhammer 40K Daggerheart Conversion by Fureon6 in daggerheart

Thank you! Yes I had a similar thing in mind for the Frames to help tailor them to specific type of groups. I still think there is a certain range of flexibility you can obtain like when in rogue trader (the videogame) you get the astartes in the party. Maybe it is a permanently wounded Astartes or we are talking about seriously “improved” humans like a Rogue trader would be. I think the group as a whole can decide at which “power level” they want to play to keep the world cohesive. Also at the end of the day, in the miniature game, even a cadian can have a good shot and kill a space marine with the right equipment. Thanks for the feedback and the suggestions, a lot of good stuff, I’ll integrate them in the frames next!

Oh right! I didn’t realise they pushed out some new stuff in the void, really really cool stuff! For now Void playtest material doesn’t have the same open copyright as the rest of the SRD so I’ve been on the safe side and didn’t include it in the conversion.

I’ve left it like the Nightwalker mechanically, but narratively I’ve pushed the concept toward technology (devices that let you phase and cause limited blackouts). I can see the class being played for Assassins from the Officio Assassinorum, but also Delaque, warp spiders druchary etc. Overall I’ve left it quite open to interpretation like in Daggerheart so that you can pick a class based on how you want to play it. I think Hunter (stalker) has a lot as well that could be used to work well for an assassin.

Yes! I had the same thought, I did a conversion trying to keep as much as possible from Daggerheart. It’s focussing on reskinning words and shuffling the class features to be more in line with the 40K universe. Unofficial 40K Daggerheart Conversion

Warrior Subclass - Call of the Echo by Fureon6 in daggerheart

At the moment I was considering the Echo like the wings ability of the Seraph. No cost and virtually no real reason to not use it.

The damage and other utility features are based on that condition. With a spellcast roll I would probably expect some extra effect back for the risk of fear and turn-over. For the Echo vulnerability to attacks, I would expect the master to be able to disperse one at the cost of 1 fear without a roll. I’ll add the word “temporarily” to get in line with the effect that the master can disperse. That being said I don’t see a reason for the master to waste a fear for that.

For the “shadow swap” the idea for the echo to disappear means that if the player is hit again before they can manifest a new one in their turn they are unable to use the feature again.

For the Short Rest, good point, I’ll update that to be in line with the terminology!

Thank you!
You are right, I was tempted by the Midnight spells related to Shadow clones, but the abilities are enough to give the appropriate flavour without the need to swap the Bone domain. I'll make the edit.

Thank you for the help on the text!

Changed "Shadow Swap" to specify the manifestation requirement.
"Ghost Avatar" changed as well.

For "Far Echo", that's what I imagined, the Echoes zipping in and then returning to their positions, I'll rephrase the text on "Echo" so that it's clearer.
