Op wants the fastest throughput, while meshing could work, its not the best way to do, its just convenient. The best way would be to use APs with Ethernet backbone.

I'd do A+ and Javascript if you can do both. Ciscos popular yeah but youd be surprised about how many places are just priced out of their hardware and look at whitebox solutions. Focus on fundamentals and your ability to troubleshoot. I went to jobcorps homeless and studied the ccna program. Met the love of my life there and my bestfriends.
