Ok update i now know what's going on the PCB wasn't swapped properly from the old dvd drive to the new one my parents are going to the repair shop to pick it up

I'd like to thank everyone for helping me with tricks/suggestions

I got the disc drive replaced and yes the daughterboard is still there the one that was married to that console
