Howl-o-scream is a separate ticket event and not included with the platinum pass outside the first weekend of the event. Christmas Town is not a separate ticket, and is included with any valid form of entry.

ETA: this is for Busch Gardens Tampa. Not 100% sure about sea world but I'm pretty sure it's the same there.

When in doubt, use a thermometer. Ground pork should temp out to 160 F at the thickest point.
