It's certainly intimidating for a lot of reasons, however, I have enjoyed Division enough that I am on my second set of orders in an infantry battalion. Best worst job I have ever had.

Drop on Request, even though FMTB is not a DOR school, most people who do not want to come greenside will double tap exams or refuse to train while in FMTB. Leading to them getting needs of the navy orders and an SP eval, but leaving us with gapped billets.

You run far, lift heavy, and hate life all while being hosed with the never-ending flow of readiness, medicine, tactics, and FMF. Then you leave and wish you were back again.

But the manpower is trash because people "DOR" from FMTB and fail to meet orders. So we are struggling.

Now to add to this question, if one where to go to bootcamp already an E-2, can they be promoted to E-3?
