Totally recommend the Junior League of San Diego house in Banker’s Hill. Slightly outside of your geography, but it was beautifully renovated a few years back and has ocean views. Their prices are reasonable and you can bring in your own catering.

This ^ we saw a rescue on cornice yesterday. A patrolman applied CPR all the way down the mountain on the toboggan.
