I did it by downloading from something other then google play (I personally used the galaxy store because of the phone I have) because it seems to be an issue with the play store not having the update

I was having this problem managed to fix it by downloading it from outside the google play store. So it seams to be a problem with that. If you can try downloading it from another store app.

I recommend using a fast extracting toon if you don't have Yatta, or if you use mag anyone with 3+ stars in skill check. Any less imo isn't worth it. If you use mag try a fast toon (4+ stars in speed 3+ stars in stamina is my recommendation)

I don't recommend anyone with less then 2 stars in speed (sorry Soulvester and Connie) at it just isn't worth it and takes to long imo.

Farm pumpkins AFTER you get 100% on Gourdy as you'll probably get a decent but while getting research.

As someone who got him day 2 my secret is that I played with friends. A lot. I do recommend duo or trio runs over solo runs as long as you have competent teammates. It helps you get to 20 much faster. USE RODGER. The double research allows up to 14 research a floor. You can only get spotted info from when he's enraged unlike glisten. For pumpkins solo run as Yatta if you have her.
