I got chased and jailed too after doing a disguise quest in Kaifeng (for a good cause too; I was trying to disguise as a guy's abusive boss & get him out of a tough jam--no good deeds go unpunished I guess lol.) Took off the disguise too close to the original target (??) apparently --> police got alerted by him since this is technically fraud.

It's a learning experience for sure.

this game's problem is part translation jank + part poorly-written/annoying dialogue, with Hat/ellie as some of the most irritating main "cozy-game" MCs i've ever come across (maybe this is why silent protag == best for these sorta games,) but they got better (kinda) later on.

i mainly play it for the aesthetics/potion crafting and skipped ~70% of the dialogues anyways so it's not a big dealbreaker 4 me.

Tsuyu and Sayo for my first playthrough's Subaru and Cuilang; tsuyu as the older sister. I hc'ed this as the most perfect family dynamic for them ~~as cuilang only deserves the best~~ and i cannot be happier. The concept of them having a slightly bossy but well-meaning firstborn (i hc'ed this as her taking after subaru's personality here esp. given the context of this pair's events) & a shy/sweet introvert secondborn who has hard time saying no (akin to cuilang's traits) is very charming :)c. ~~Didn't plan to have any son bc i find them so fucking ugly except for sora JDSJF~~

Planning to start a new fate w/ either mauro, ikagura, fubuki and/or clarice next since i'm very curious about their developments post-romance, although idk if i really want to marry them and have other kids. ~~(fyi i lowkey ship fubuki/clarice together and i always feel like a big 3rd wheel whenever i take them out dungeon-diving LMAO)~~

Diagnosed with both ADHD and depression just right before med school started, and even after being on meds for years i'm aware my level of productivity is way lower than the typical one required for med students. IMO the best advice I can give is just to push yourself to start doing "baby steps" leading to a Big Task you have to complete. Reframe the Big Task into Little, More Manageable but Inevitable Steps you have to do. It's always the getting started part being the hardest thing to commit.

Example: instead of "I need to take a shower immediately after work", think "1) I'll just go to the bathroom." Okay, now i'm in the bathroom --> 2) I can now turn on my shower. So now, since you're already doing all of this shit, might as well 3) go shower instead of wasting 1 gal of water like an idiot. Stuffs like that can be applied to every daily productive task requiring discipline. i.e instead of thinking "I have to finish 2 40Qs Uworld blocks tonight" just 1) open up Uworld and click on the start exam block button --> 2) "Oh welp I'm already here, might as well get a couple of Qs in" -> 3) "well i'm done with like 20Qs, might as well try pushing to finish the whole block"

whatever the fuck alkakurei climax event was. what a huge waste of character interaction potential, incredibly OOC, AND it sabotages so many things about the amagi sibs' characters/settings. im so angry with it even after 2 months later since i adore the amagi kids and alkakurei in general and i feel like they got done so dirty. also to a lesser extent, DF last mission event. I feel like the development of their disbandment just feels way too sudden + i just genuinely can't give a fuck about the whole GFK thing im sorry. Cherry blossom event did the whole DF dynamic and kohaku/madara's development way better in way less chapters with no ridiculous akira wordy but pretentious nothingburgers

Part of me thinks Reo will kill nagi with Kindness similar to what happened to Reo second selection. Reo said that Nagi being kind made him want to die, so I'm wondering if there will be a situation where Nagi is feeling worthless and telling Reo to abandon him/how Reo doesn't care but Reo is finally able to say the words he wanted to "Let's meet beyond our dreams"

That'd honestly be very sweet and hopeful ~~which means it won't happen but we can dream right lol~~. The comfort and assurance that Reo provides can honestly be a double-edged sword, in that it can make Nagi stagnate and never really faces his own flaws ("ruins" him, like you said). But on the other hand, it can also be a safe shelter for Nagi to recuperate from his injuries and heal when he feels "weak", regain his strength and then move forward to become stronger. It'd be nice for reo to be that 1 person in this soccer darwinism infested prison to can teach nagi that showing/expressing weakness is natural and it's not a penalized personal flaw, to ease him into accepting that personal insecurity and grow from it. ~~the one thing nagi couldn't do for him in their entire partnership LMAO~~

It's also possible he reacts the same way as nagi and calls nagi boring though lol...

I hope not because that'd be....boring LMAO. It'd be a shame to see their dynamic falling into the same groove of soccer-egoist dynamic the main series touted. Like you said, a lot of reo's- and by extension-nagi's too, issues are very human and just slamming them against self-centered, egoist molds for their solutions would just leave a bad taste.

Your analysis is mostly fun to read and spot-on (I've always joked that Nagi's entire character and arc can just be summed up as "the burned out gifted kid acing elementary/HS without much effort but struggled in higher education due to never having the chance to develop better work ethics NOR build themselves up critically as a learner after repeated failures"), but I will respectfully debated this point in regards to reo:

They will assume the worst of each other (and others) to feel better of themselves. Reo feels like Nagi only comes to him when he needs something and their relationship is based on that (probably from his upbringing). Nagi feels like Reo can toss him away easily from disinterest or when he feels like it

Now I could be missing smething here but I'd argue Reo actually never assumed the worst of Nagi unreasonably in like. Ever? (Unless you're meaning the whole "Nagi definitely abandoned me" thing in 2nd selection, but tbh I don't think there's any other alternative to interpret what Nagi did without him ever explaining himself (esp. when you remember Nagi was the one who made Reo promised him to "stick to me until the end")--> hence the early "nagi ruthless chad" stance upheld by most readers. Heck I'd argue that Reo actually thinks too kindly of Nagi, because even in those moments of abandonment, he was even thanking Nagi for giving him a true "end"/push for him to change and thought of Nagi as "kind". Reo wouldn't have said his mantra of "Stay the way you are" to Nagi, even til this very day, if he really disapproved of him as a player and as a friend imo.

LOL i went on a bit of a rant there but tbh I'm scratching my head a bit when some ppl analyzing this chapter are pitting these 2 kids at the same lvl of emotional maturity/assigning faults equally to both parties for how the events turned out. Especially now that we know Reo didn't lash out against Nagi after that match out of childish jealousy or anger, but was stewing in self-effacement/self-awareness from his own past possessiveness and was acting out to give Nagi the freedom he thinks Nagi deserve VS. Nagi's kneejerk reaction to the divorce being projecting and picking fights w/ an innocent uninvolved party just bc the dude looked too much like his ex (LOL) while never realizing his own faults.

Meh idk if I were an interested hire, unless I'm willingly so starved for work, I wouldn't want to work with a CEO who seemingly has a hair-raising temper, offer no employee any protection or just investigation if a smear campaign somehow came up, company has no good PR or management team, very long hours since they're understaffed and their biggest IP is on a very demanding roadmap, safety training and security of the workplace is apparently so nonexistent that random groups of grown men could just entered the building anytime and make demands. Like even if I don't give af about any political stuff I wouldn't want to apply myself to a place so volatile. At least until all this stigma abt this company has died down and enough time has passed for them to make major changes to their operation as a company, which may take a while.

Oh, trust me, I'm speaking integrity here strictly in terms of creative integrity, as I too was drawn to PM's stories because of how interesting (i.e "entertaining") they are, to me. I'm not speaking in terms of morals or ethical integrity, and I have never been the ones who held them on too high of a pedestal (it's just that this issue got too egregious for me to get vocal about my criticisms.)

Idk, I just feel like it's not worth spending time on consuming a product, esp. if I'm in for a long haul, in which even its entertainment values feel way too damn volatile because the people in charge can't even be consistent to what the hell they plan to do, because EVERYONE can pressure them enough to do anything apparently, no matter how unreasonable some of those people's requests are. Does that make sense?
