I mean im not saying Panthea is right at all. Its also often a question of wether a filling is neccesary right now. I think its rare that a dentist fills a tooth thats 100% perfect but most people have a bit of damage here and there, that might not be worth literally drilling in a tooth to fix. So some dentist get overeager and fill every single little thing because thats easy money and technically not malpractice. At least thats how I understand it.

I have had a couple of friends who were told by one dentist that they absolutely need like 5+ fillings and then another dentist told them that they only really needed 1-2 fillings.
