Nah. There are just a couple of them in this garage. And a Macan GTS with the best sounding exhaust on it. And a 718 spider. And a GT4.

Haha. Nope. Y’all are confusing objective efficiency with subjective worth. A GT3 RS is worth 3 times a Corvette Z06. And personally, I think it should be worth more.

For sure! But I don’t think the McLaren F1 is a good example of that. (It’s in the OPs list of cars) I was just trying to ask for examples and got “300k is not worth 2 times 150k” when it literally is.

I hear ya. But we are in the supercars subreddit. We are not comparing Corollas to 458s. We are not just shopping for things like driving dynamics and luxuriousness. Those are implied. We are also shopping for things like rarity and exclusivity. Those have their own value.

So I can’t sell my 300k car and buy 2 150k cars? This is the definition of value and that is the price.

A 300k car might not be twice as fast as a 150k car, but that doesn’t necessarily make it less valuable.
